Welcome to Hoenig Auction and thank you for choosing to take part in our auctions. Participation in our auctions, whether online or in-person, indicates your agreement to the following comprehensive terms and conditions:
All Sales Are Final: - Our policy strictly prohibits returns, refunds, or exchanges for any reason.
- All items offered in this auction are sold "AS IS", WHERE IS" with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Your bid constitutes an agreement to purchase the item as described at your bid price. No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, shall be deemed such a guarantee, warranty or representation. At Hoenig Auctions, we encourage thorough examination and inquiry about items prior to bidding. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to inspect, assess each item condition, authenticity, age, value or other factors and place bids accordingly. While we strive to accurately represent items in descriptions and advertising, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of these materials. Hoenig Auctions has final authority over all sale transactions and decisions.
- Buyer's Premium and Fees:
- Buyer’s Premiums may vary from sale to sale. Please see the Buyer’s Premium Details at the beginning of the Auction Catalog.
- 3% convenience fee on all credit card and debit card purchases
- Sales tax will be added when applicable, unless valid resale certificate is signed and provided to Hoenig Auctions.
- All bidders agree to pay the buyer's premiums, fees and taxes (when applicable) when purchasing items through Hoenig Auctions.
- Payment Terms
- For Winning Bidders, all invoices will be sent to your email within 1 hour of the final auction item closing.
- Please make payment arrangements within 48 hours of invoice receipt, after 48 hours if no payment arrangement has been made, the credit or debit card provided and on file will be charged automatically.
- Accepted payment methods include:
- ACH Debit Payments, Wire Transfers, Major Credit Cards, Cash, and Good Checks are all acceptable forms of payment. Major Credit Cards Accepted are Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.
- The currency for all purchases shall be billed and paid in US Dollars.
- All Items being shipped are required to be paid for in full prior to shipment.
- Should you choose to pay using a different credit card than the one we have on file, a fee of $10 will be added to your invoice for this change.

- Any bidder who fails to pay will result in bidding privileges being revoked for future auctions. Bidder will be reported to bidding platforms and authorities, regardless of amount. We reserve the right to permanently prohibit violators of our terms and policies.
- Bidder Registration:
- To register for and participate in our auctions, you must create a FREE account using a valid email, user name and password. A valid credit card is also required for bidding registration to ensure bidder validity. While it is free to register to bid, we do have a verification process of a dollar amount that is credit/debit to your card for verification of identity. Hoenig Auctions reserves the right to approve or reject any bidder at our discretion.

- Previews are available for most auction events, see auction details for preview information. Additional photographs and videos are available upon request. forward requests to terry@hoenigauctions.com prior to auction closing.
- BIDS:
- Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid. If an offering has a reserve, the auctioneer reserves the right to bid up to the reserve amount on behalf of the seller. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the buyer. In the event of a tied bid or dispute between bidders, Auctioneer has final discretion as to who is the winning bidder.
- Local Pick Up:
- Pay attention to pick-up details within each auction. They are listed at the beginning of each catalog listing.
- There will be a designated day and time for you to pick-up your items. If you or a representative for you, cannot pick the item up during that time please do not bid and buy on the auction.
- Bring along A PHOTO ID and PRINTED RECIEPT of PURCHASE in order to pick up your purchase.
- If you do not pick-up your items on the designated days for loadout and no communication with Hoenig Auctions has been made, the items will revert back to the seller and/or Hoenig Auctions. No Refunds, No exceptions.
- Loading, transportation, and any required disassembly of items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. We do not provide tools for disassembly or assist with moving heavy objects. In some cases, we may require professionally licensed, bonded and insured movers to load out inventory that is deemed overly heavy for safety purposes.
- Liability: Buyers assume all risks associated with the removal, transportation, and use of purchased items. Hoenig Auctions is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that occurs at the auction site or as a result of the transportation or use of purchased items.
- Shipping:
- Shipping service is offered by Hoenig Auctions where applicable.
- Shipping is available on most small items. However, some items are not eligible for shipping. Pay attention to Item description.
- Shipping will be a separate invoice.
- After conclusion of the auction, you will receive a communication from Hoenig Auctions to make shipping/local pickup arrangements if requested.
- Shipping costs: postage, shipping materials, handling, insurance, and delivery confirmation are the responsibility of the buyer.
- All items shipped will be shipped will be insured at their purchase price at buyer’s expense. (no exceptions)
- All combined purchases with a value exceeding $300 will be shipped with signature confirmation at buyer’s expense.
- Shipping Costs are calculated post sale.
- Items may be packaged together to save on shipping costs.
- All Items being shipped are required to be paid for in full prior to shipment.
- Shipping Invoices must be paid with in 3 business days, failure to pay by deadline with no communication with Hoenig Auctions may result in being blocked from future bidding. After 7 days your item will be forfeited, and ownership reverts to Hoenig Auctions.

Should a technical problem arise as an auction is concluding, we reserve the right to close, reopen and extend the auction duration to ensure a fair and complete bidding opportunity for all involved.
- Amendments to Terms: Hoenig Auctions reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Participation in our auctions following any amendments constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- All sales at Hoenig Auctions are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Should any disputes arise from these auctions, they must be resolved within the jurisdiction of Iowa.
